A Journey to Healing
Childhood is supposed to be a wonderful time where children don’t have a care in the world. Some children, however, are forced to deal with situations that most of us could never imagine in our worst nightmares. Child abuse is tragic and traumatising, and the pain doesn’t stop when the child reveals their abuse. After a child has been abused, there are physical and mental scars.

MESSAGE FOR CHILDREN
When someone touches you in a way that makes you feel bad or uncomfortable, it is unsafe and you must tell an adult you trust. It is not your fault when something happens. Do not feel guilty. Stay calm. If you do not tell someone, it will happen again. Tell someone if something wrong is being done to your friends.
